Matthews & Fields will be closed for the upcoming Christmas and New Year's holidays on the following dates:
December 23rd, 24th, and 26th, 2011
December 31st, 2011, and January 2nd, 2012.
Both the Henrietta and Stonewood yards will be closed for Saturday hours for the months of January, and February. We will reopen for Saturday business on Saturday March 3rd, 2012, at the normal hours of 8:00-12:00

Safe-Tie Buckets
Safety in a bucket. Included in each bucket is a universal fit harness with five points of adjustment, 50' of vertical lifeline with built in shock pack, one heavy duty reusable anchor point, that will accommodate roof pitches up to 12/12.
Also new to stock are 4 x 6 x 12' #2 pressure treated timbers.

Matthews & Fields is now stocking Framer Series® Lumber from Weyerhauser. The Framer Series® lumber is southern yellow pine that has been mechanically graded to virtually eliminate warping by testing each piece for specific strength and density requirements. Each board comes with the crown edge clearly marked to speed installation. The material is treated with a mold inhibitor to help it stay clean bright. The lumber comes with a two (2) year warranty versus warping through bowing, cupping, and twisting. Matthews & Fields is now stocking vinyl replacement insert windows from Silverline: 8500 Series Double Hung, white, Low-E3 with Argon glass, half screens, head/sill expanders, and Energy Star rated. We are stocking ten (10) common sizes at our Stonewood Avenue location. Other sizes and styles are available by special order, with an approximate lead time of two to two and a half weeks.

Matthews & Fields Lumber is now a stocking Kreg Tools dealer. Famous for their pocket screw technology, for cabinet making and other wood working projects, both interior and exterior. Their spirit levels carry a lifetime warranty for accuracy, fogging, or leaking, as long as the level frame does not get bent. They offer lasers for all different applications, both interior and exterior. -Dow Building Solutions Froth-Pak FS Foam Insulation Kits.
This two component quick cure polyurethane foam quickly fills cavities, voids and penetrations (2" or greater) through walls, floors, and plates for pipes, vents and wiring. The foam cures in minutes.
This material carries a flame spread index of 25 or less, qualifying it as an insulation as well as an air sealant. In addition to blocking air infiltration, this product helps seal out moisture, dust, smoke, outside noise and insects.
Bonds to wood, rigid foam, masonry, metal and more. Kit is self contained, no power or air pressure is required. Mixing is done at the disposable nozzles, preventing cross contamination. Tanks have a built in temperature indicator. For best results, the tanks should be at 75º or warmer.
Applications: For use in sealing inside the house, penetrations, sill plates, rim joists, band joists, stud wall cavities, ceilings/attics, crawl spaces and basements, floors above garages, and bathtub framework.
Sizes: We are stocking two (2) sizes, FS-180 (appx. yield 160 board feet), and FS-600 (appx. yield 540 board feet). The FS-180 comes self contained in one (1) box (A-tank, B-tank, hoses-pre-attached, and multiple nozzles for cone and fan spray).
